Refrigeration Edinburgh

Privacy notice

This notice explains how enquiry information and website interactions are processed through refrigerationedinburgh.co.uk.

Information supplied through the form

The enquiry form requires your name, email address and message. Telephone number and site postcode are optional. These details are used to handle your enquiry and related correspondence.

Keep your message to a short description of the work. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, payment or account details, identity documents, medical records, confidential client files or full financial statements through this general form.

How enquiries are processed

Cloudflare Pages serves the website and proxies the form request. Google Cloud hosts the form service. SMTP2GO delivers the enquiry email to the existing private recipient, Doxa records the enquiry for internal handling, and Google Workspace handles email correspondence.

These services support receipt, recording and follow-up of the information you submit. The form’s processing route does not include automatic disclosure to third-party contractors.

Website hosting and technical information

Cloudflare, the website delivery and security provider, may process IP addresses, traffic routing and system configuration information, and other traffic data associated with website interactions. Its privacy policy (cloudflare.com) explains this processing and its role when handling content on customer instructions.

Hosting-level analytics and fonts

Cloudflare Web Analytics is configured at the hosting level for refrigerationedinburgh.co.uk, including automatic beacon installation. This existing configuration is separate from scripts added in the website template. No additional analytics, advertising or marketing-cookie scripts have been added in the new template code.

Cloudflare’s Web Analytics documentation (developers.cloudflare.com) describes the separate configuration methods. Website fonts are served from self-hosted files.

Your rights and privacy questions

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to information about processing, a copy of your personal data, correction, erasure or restriction, and objection to processing. Conditions and exemptions apply, so a request does not always require deletion or another requested action.

The Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK authority for information rights and data-protection oversight, explains these conditions in its data protection rights guidance (ico.org.uk).

Include enough information to identify the relevant enquiry when raising a privacy question. Keep sensitive records out of the message.

Use the contact form to ask Refrigeration Edinburgh about your information or make a rights request.
